Autumn afternoon 1

Sydney May 2013 (2 photos)

OK, a little poetic licence, this isn’t quite the yellow brick road but at least this is in Oz and it does seem to be golden in the late afternoon sunshine. As it is now the final week of Autumn here, most of my photos until the end of the month will be in autumnal colours. Most; not all. šŸ™‚

  1. Oh these are beautiful. The soft golden light gives the place a really inviting feel. Makes you want to go for a long walk under the canopy of trees.

    • Thank you. This was taken in the first half hour of “the golden hour”. And yes, I deliberately got off the footpath to walk on this track just to be under the canopy.

  2. What a beautiful spot – I would love to see it in every season šŸ™‚ I like the black and white but those fall colors are wonderful. I love that warm light.

    • Thank you. I was walking on the concrete path on the left of the photo when I saw the light and decided to walk on the inner horse track. Well worth it! šŸ™‚
