Once upon a time, a young Draco and his peaceful home were threatened and in self-defence, he defeated the invading armies of the first Emperor of China. With his dying breath, the Emperor promised that revenge would eventually be his. In secret, a great host was trained with one purpose, to exact revenge upon Draco.

VIVID is now over for another year. Winter life in Sydney returns to its routine now. In the previous post we looked at and visited the Sydney Opera House. Now we walk towards Customs House, in the general vicinity of the Marriott Hotel which you can see in the background of the photo above.

It is now the last night of VIVID Sydney for 2015, and coincidentally a public holiday which marks the start of the ski season here. For the past 18 nights, Sydney has been aglow with various light projections and installations. Standing out in the wintery cold night air with a camera and tripod seems like a natural thing to do.

VIVID Sydney is now on for another 5 nights. For this post we continue on the way towards the Sydney Opera House from where we left off in the previous post. From the base of the Sydney Harbour Bridge we make a small detour into the area of The Rocks historic district.
